This was one of our favorite weddings for many reasons! One of which is that we have known Sarah since she was a young girl. Carol even had the privilege of teaching her at church in the 1st grade! Who knew all these years later, that we would be photographing her wedding. Time sure flys! This wedding took place at the beautiful Maclay Gardens in Tallahassee, Florida. Okay, so another reason this was one of our favorite weddings was the style the bride chose for her wedding. The day had such an organic feel to it...from her bridal gown, right down to every last detail. We totally love it when our brides are detailed oriented, but not overly-consumed with the details and able to relax and enjoy the day. And she did just that. Enjoyment is written all over her face in her photos! And Steven is such a great match for her, making her feel even more confident in who she is, and bringing out the sweetest smiles in her. Allen loved working with him and his groomsmen as well, since they had a great sense of humor and didn't mind some crazy shots! We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do!
Always love photographing details! Carol enjoys photographing the flowers and bridesmaids details (shoes, etc) while Allen always does the jewelry shots...and he never disappoints!!

It's always a blast when the bride does a "1st reveal" with her bridesmaids! These girls were so much fun to work with!

This was one of the sweetest "no-look" moments. We made sure the groom didn't peek, but not sure we were able to stop the bride. They are so cute together!
This was an epic moment! Sarah decided to throw a bouquet of roses that would break apart when tossed! This was such a great idea and made for gorgeous photos!
Tossing the garter attached to a football...we had never seen that done before either. Loved it!
We followed them to the Governor's Inn in Tallahassee, where they spent their first night, for a few more shots.
Oh my goodness! Makes me smile and tear up a bit looking at these again! We are continually amazed that we get to work together with a bride & groom on the happiest day of their lives. What-a-job!
